Well, personally, I think the reunion was a big success. Aside from the fact that we only had a total of 75 people attend, all-in-all it was great. I would like to thank everyone for their help in planning the reunion, without everones help it wouldn't have been the reunion it was. I would hope that at our 20 year reunion we can have everyone there. I know a lot of people were missed due to lack of interest or conflicts in timing, but hopefully there won't be any excuses next time. Everyone got along great and had the best time. I would like to add that no one was stuck in their old "clicks". Everyone talked, danced, DRANK, and had a blast. I don't believe anyone was disappointed at all. I look forward to seeing you all again.

PLEASE REGISTER AND PAY ASAP...WE MUST HAVE AN ACCURATE COUNT FOR THE CATERER AND ONLY ABOUT 60 PEOPLE (that's including spouses) HAVE REGISTERED!!!! What's up with that???? Come on...it's not like we're in high school anymore. We have all changed...hopefully for the better. We are old and wiser...forget the "click" stuff and register! Popularity doesn't matter anymore, let's just all get reacquainted!

We are still needing help find the MIAs (missing in action). Look over the list, make some phone calls and help us find our missing classmates. The committee has used all the the resources available to them to locate these people...please help!

If you are interested, the committee is planning on having a tailgate party on Friday night, October 8th at 5pm before the football game in the South High parking lot. Bring your shoe polish and a side dish...dessert, chips & dip, pop, etc. Embers Web Design & Computer Repair will provide the hamburgers and hotdogs and the reunion committee will provide eating utensils and such. For the "Tour" on Saturday at the school, we will be meeting in the cafeteria for performances by the NHS Cheerleaders, PomPom Squad and Jazz Band.

By the way, the Keen Kutter rooms C & D are across the street from the hotel where the old America's Pub used to be.

The Reunion Itinerary is now set. The football game will be at Carpenter Stadium (South High) on Friday, October 8th. It is the Homecoming game...so get out your old t-shirts from high school, put on your stompin' boots and lets show the young ones how it's really done! Our motto for the night, "ruff-n-rowdy." The North High Redskins vs. the East High Aces...join us to watch the two oldest high schools in Wichita battle it out on the football field.

After the game, join for the "Old Town Mixer." We will meet at River City Brewery located at the corner of 1st & Mosley (just down the street from the hotel) and where we end likely depends on how many beverages we consume.

Saturday, the dinner and dance will be in the Keen & Kutter Rooms C & D at the Hotel at Old Town from 7pm to ??? Again, where you end up at the end of the night or who you end up with depends on the number of beverages you consume. Dinner will be buffet-style provided by one the the finest caterers in town. Music will be provided by the Born to Boogie DJ Service.

DON'T FORGET TO BOOK YOUR HOTEL ROOMS NOW AND ASK FOR THE "NORTH HIGH CLASS OF '94 DISCOUNT! If you plan on drinkin', don't plan on driving...the hotel in the heart of Old Town! For a slightly higher price yet still discounted, book a room with a jacuzzi and rekindle some old flames.

We have also extended the reduced registration deadline until August 15th since the response to the first mailer was so small. I cannot stress enough how important it is to pay your register and pay your fees ASAP.

We also need help finding old classmates...so far we have only 120 people registered out of over 300 so spread the word!

The third meeting went well. There were a total of six attending. I am putting together a list of persons not found yet and emailing them out to committee members. I think we have somewhat determined that we should charge $50 in advance or $60 at the door. There are a few of us working on getting any money donations for the reunion. We are tossing around the idea of Marriott East or Hotel Oldtown as prospects for Saturday night. We will find out more info and post it as soon as we can.

Looks like I am going to wait to do the pictures page for a bit. I think rather than posting every classmates picture from the yearbook on the web site I will just add miscellaneous photos from the yearbook(s) and any others that may be donated for scanning. (hint hint) The reunion page will come together when we get some definite dates, times, places, etc.

Well, we had a great second meeting at Players last night. We seem to be averaging about 8 to 10 people per meeting, better than expected. We Have a general itenerary put together and a primarily waiting on a venue for the Saturday night gig. I think we are anticiapting the reunion to be held on homecoming weekend, so the football game Friday night should be a blast. After the footabll game we are planning on going out partying at a local club (nothing set in stone yet). Saturday from around 1 - 4 PM we are going to try to have North open for visiting. At around 7 we will begin our all-out-bash at the selected venue of choice. I think we will all have a great time and I look forward to seeing you all again. I cannot stress enough, the importance of filling out the registration page. That will help us (the committee) in locating everyone to send out invitations to.

I finally have the web form done. If you would like to input your information, it will add it to the database. I can then generate reports from that, should anyone need them. Next up is the Photo page that I should have done in a couple of days... a week at the most as it is a lot of scanning to do. Send anyone end everyone you can to the site to register.

Well, it has finally come.... The TEN YEAR REUNION. There are about 8 to 10 of us actively planning the reunion. We met at Players on 21st Street yesterday evening for the first time to get this party started. I think we have decided to have alcohol at the reunion. Dunno if we decided anything else yet... Actually we have somewhat divided up tasks and will soon be contacting everyone we can. If we haven't contacted you, please feel free to fill out our online form (coming soon) so that we can. We will be putting a database together with everyone's current info on it for future use as well as sending out this years invitations. Well, the only thing I have done on this site so far is typed this... better get to work. Talk to you all soon.
